One arrest has been made in the stabbing of a 16 year old boy that took place "in a parking lot" at 2415 S Coulter.  I can only assume it was at the apartments there by the mall entrance, because that's what pulls up when you search the address, but it is not specified.  The young man was transported to the hospital in critical condition, but his injuries are now believed to be none life-threatening.

"On April 11, 2014 around 10:15 PM, the Amarillo Police responded to 2415 S. Coulter on a report of a stabbing victim in the parking lot.  Police and emergency personnel located a white male 16 years of age, with several stab wounds, down in the parking lot.  The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.  Witnesses reported the incident was the result of a road rage incident.  The suspect confronted the victim in the parking lot where he assaulted the juvenile victim with a knife.  The suspect then fled the scene in a yellow, compact car.  Responding officers located the suspect vehicle as it was fleeing the scene.  Officers stopped the vehicle near IH-40 and S. Georgia and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.  The suspect was Bobby Wayne Shoemaker W/M 44.  Mr. Shoemaker was booked into the Potter County Detention Center on the charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.  Amarillo Police Department detectives are currently investigating the incident.  The victim's injuries are no longer considered life-threatening."
