2 People Dead After Police Chase A Stolen Truck Downtown

APD has confirmed that the driver and a passenger of a stolen truck are dead after crashing into a semi-truck.

According to police, a truck was reported stolen around 8:40 this evening. The driver and passenger in the stolen truck led police on a high-speed chase through town and ended in a fatal crash on 2nd and Van Buren.

The stolen truck lost control and smashed into a parked semi-truck. Both driver and passenger of stolen truck were pronounced dead on the scene. APD has the area closed down due to investigation and clean up. We will keep you updated as soon as we receive more information.
