2 People Die And More Than 20 Injured In Boston Marathon Explosions [PHOTOS]

More details are coming in about the 2 explosions that shook the finish line of the Boston Marathon around 2:45pm today and the news is sad.  It's been confirmed by police that at least 2 people died in the explosions and 22 people suffered injuries.  The rumor of the 3rd explosive device was confirmed and it has been diffused.

CNN catches us up on the additional explosives that were discovered:

Authorities in Boston have found other explosive devices that they were working to dismantle, a federal law enforcement source told CNN. The devices were "low flashpoint," and did not appear to have shrapnel inside them, the source said.

It's still unclear as to who could have planted the bombs, state officials say there were no "credible threats" before the race began.

The explosion was described as sounding like a "huge cannon going off", I couldn't imagine being at ground zero and having to have witnessed it myself.  This is such a horrible thing, who could actually bring themselves to do such a thing?  We have some sick people in this world that's a fact!  And it scares me terribly to think I'm bringing a child into this world.
