Thinking of baby names right now? Well if your anything like me, the last thing you want to do is name your child a common name. I like being different! I think abnormal is better than normal. But the world needs normal people too! Either way, the Social Security office released is list of most popular baby names in Texas and here it is!
Recapping 2011 and all the babies born in the year, the top 2 names that came in for babies born in Texas are Jacob and Sophia.
I didn’t realize Sophia was such a popular name?
Anyways those are the 2 that topped off the list, here’s the top 5 for both genders.
Girls:
1) Sophia
2) Isabella
3) Emma
4) Mia
5) Emily
Boys:
1) Jacob
2) Jayden
3) Daniel
4) Jose
5) David
The girls names are the ones that got me the most, because for being such a popular baby name, I know very few people that have children with any of those names.
As far as boys, yeah in Texas that pretty much nailed it.
