Following the revelation that 6ix9ine's crew had potentially been plotting to harm him, new information has surfaced regarding members of his crew. Today (Nov. 29), federal prosecutors have hit members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods with drug trafficking charges.

According to a new report from The Blast, the U.S. Attorney filed additional charges against Jamel "Murda Mel" Jones, for narcotics charges, as well as possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. Allegedly, Jones, who was a crucial member of 6ix9ine's crew, trafficked large amounts of heroin, fentanyl and MDMA. The new charges carry additional sentences of life in prison.

In addition to facing drug trafficking charges, Jones was involved in a conversation between Kifano Jordan (Tekashi's former manager) and others. In the transcript obtained by TMZ, the group was looking to harm 6ix9ine.

"[Tekashi] is trying to dry snitch at the same, home," Jones says. "But he keep saying, fuck Treyway, fuck that nigga, Treyway. Ain't no nigga, Treway. Fuck Treway."

Luckily for 6ix9ine, he is not facing any drug trafficking charges. The Dummy Boy rapper is currently facing 32 years to life in prison after being arrested for firearms charges and racketeering on Nov. 18. Tekashi has pleaded not guilty to these charges. The trial is set to begin on Sept. 4, 2019.
