77 Year Old Man Accused Of Sexual Abuse Of A Child Starting When She Was 7

A west Texas man already looking at federal charges for child pornography is now facing accusations of sexual abuse of a young girl, that started when she was only 7.

"Seventy-seven-year-old Dale Wray Fulford of Slaton is accused of molesting the girl starting when she was 7, when her family moved into a house Fulford rented.

Prosecutors say he gave the girl his ex-wife's wedding ring as a "commitment."

The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reports he was indicted Tuesday in Lubbock County on one count each of continuous sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony, and sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony.

Lubbock County online jail records do not indicate an attorney for Fulford, whose bail was set at $600,000."
