96.9 KISS-FM Amarillo Scores The 1st Dash For Cash Winner! [PHOTOS]

Well it's happened!  We stashed $1,000 somewhere in Amarillo, and this morning, on day number 3 of the clues in Dash 4 Kash, we got a winner almost immediately after the 10:20am clue!  Joey Palacios gets the bragging rights of being our 1st winner in 2013!  He's $1,000 richer!  Who's gonna be the next winner?  The next person to decipher the clues and crack the code that leads them to the cash?  Well, I'm actually going to give you some helpful hints right now!  And, this 1 time ONLY, I'll take the clues given and break them down to you so they make sense and show you how they led Joey and about 10 other people to the spot we hid it this round!

Again, I won't be doing breakdowns for all the clues in all the rounds, that's just too much, but trust me when I say, they do make sense, you've just gotta read between the lines.  And always keep this in mind, we never flat out and tell you EXACTLY where it is in the first 4 days, we do that with Friday's clues.  What we do is take you on a journey, leading you gradually to exactly where it's at.  The best advice I can give is, anticipate where we are leading you to!  Think 1 step ahead of where we're pointing you at in your clues, the best advice I can seriously give is that!

One more thing, we don't just come out and tell you "what you're looking for", as we hide the "winning vouchers", we use different things to do it in, so the clues will tell you what you're looking for. And also, read the rules (available at the bottom), we will never lead you to courthouses, city hall, the civic center, fair grounds, Sox stadium, a business or any other form of private property!

Basically, here, we're telling you that it's a park or trail or some public place that is easily accessed from I-40, that's all!

THOUGH THE 1^ST LINE WE SPEAK OF WILL GET YOU THERE, TO BE FAIR, THE 2^ND LINE THAT CROSSES THE CITY CAN WIN YOU CASH IF YOU’RE WITTY

In this one, what we're telling you is, not only can I-40 lead you there easily, but so can I-27, and when you think about it, they only intersect in 1 place, the downtown interchange!

Tuesday, May 14^th, 2013 Clues:

A GEORGE OF 2 LAST NAMES WILL TAKE YOU THERE IF YOU PLAY OUR GAME…FOR GEORGE LIES ON THE EDGE OF THE THOUSAND DOLLARS THAT WE PLEDGE

Okay so here, we're talking about Washington st. because it's on the edge of downtown and you can literally drive up to downtown in a matter of 2 blocks from Washington, or Adams, depending on where you are on the street.

HOBO PARK IS NOT WHERE WE WANT YOU GOING, THERE’S MANY OTHER PARKS OF WHICH YOU MAY NOT BE KNOWING, TRAVEL ON YOUR PATH AHEAD, FOR BEYOND IT AWAITS YOU, BUT DON’T BE MISLEAD.

We're now saying, "don't go to Elwood Park", go past that, and we're speaking of the many parks in downtown now as well, telling you to move forward to downtown Amarillo.  Boom, easy!

IF YOU’RE ON A TRIP TO CALIFORNIA THEN WE MUST TELL YOU, WE HAVE TO WARN YA…YOU’RE DESTINY TO GET YOUR FIX..LIES SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 72 AND 66

So this deals with "exit signs", if you're going to California, you're heading west on I-40, the exit for both Washington AND downtown Amarillo both lie between exits 72 and 66 on I-40, there ya go!  Add that into the other clues, you can easily see that you want somewhere around Washington or downtown.

May 15th, 2013 Clue:

NO COURTHOUSE OR CITY HALL WILL WIN YOU THE CASH...FOLLOW THE RULES TO FIND IT FAST..STAY OUT OF WHERE WE WARN...AND LOOK FOR BLACK IRON

Well, we're saying "it's not at a courthouse or at city hall", the rules clearly state that if you haven't read them, you should!  But what else is in here?  Black Iron!  You know that big old steam train by the Civic Center, the big black old iron & steel train, well we kind of told you precisely where to look there!

Well in that clue, which keep in mind was released on Monday, we basically told you that you want to be at a park somewhere downtown, because at "square", there's 10 black rest benches in a row, you drive by them on Taylor in downtown, so we basically just said, "be downtown, you want to look downtown".  Now, you shouldn't have bee led to the courthouse, because if you read the rules, you would know that it says "it will never lead to courthouses, city hall, etc"

I urge you, read the official rules!  Because when you combine the rules and clues, it's actually fairly easy to crack the code!  They're below for you :)
