96.9 KISS-FM Collects Coats & Kicks For Kids!

It's our 1st ever Coats & Kicks 4 Kids Drive!  We're not asking that you reach into your wallet for anything, we're asking that you do yourself a favor and clean out that closet :)  If you have some gently used jackets that you don't wear anymore, or maybe that pair of shoes you bought and wore once, we would gladly take them off your hands to make sure NO CHILD of the Texas Panhandle has to be in the cold without a jacket, or wearing shoes that have wholes in them.

Some families fell on hard times when the economy tanked, and good fathers lost their jobs and can't provide the finer things in life right now for their families.  We're helping them out!  Children that have no choice but to wear 3 times hand me down clothes.  Jackets that are ripped and frayed, shoes that are covered in wholes.  These jackets don't keep them warm and the shoes definitely don't protect their feet.  And while we know the parents wish they could provide only the best for their children, they simply can not make ends meet.

Search your soul, you'll find that spark within yourself.  That want and almost need to help out others.

Gently used and new jackets and coats will be accepted at the KISS-FM studios, located at 6214 W 34th Ave in Amarillo, from 11a-8p today through Wednesday, August 28th.
