A Bee Causes Amarillo Teen To Wreck Car Into Utility Pole

This morning traffic was backed up near I-40 & Western after a car had slammed into a utility pole.

Just after 8 a.m. a teen was driving down Western when all of a sudden she got scared of a wasp or bee was flying around and caused her to lose control of her car on the wet pavement and slammed right into a utility pole.

The lane was blocked off as workers and a police officer pushed the car into a safer spot accessible for the tow company. I'm just glad nobody was injured and everyone walked away without scrapes or bruises including the bee or wasp that was flying around in her car.
