Yes ladies & gentlemen, the world is crazy, and so are the people in it!  Making money can be one of the most dangerous things in the world, but it's something we all have to do.  We all do different things, and they all come with their own setbacks and perks.  Being a concert promoter is a pretty stressful job, and turns out almost as dangerous as being on the Deadliest Catch!  Especially when your acts NAS and Jemiah Jai don't show up to do a concert and your investor in the show gets pissed off.

A concert promoter and his son were actually kidnapped when NAS didn't show up for a concert that was heavily promoted as a New Years Eve Bash in Angola.  A rep for All Good Entertainment CEO Patrick Allocco claims that Patrick and his son were both abducted by hired goons working for a local man that funded the show, named Henrique “Riquhino” Miguel.  Apparently he put up some pretty big bucks and wanted his money one way, or the other. (TMZ)

Allocco's people claim Nas and opening act Jemiah Jai were paid $315k to perform two shows ... but failed to board their flights in the U.S. in time to make it on stage in Angola.

According to Allocco's team ... Miguel was PISSED ... and didn't want Allocco to leave the country without resolving the whole money issue ... so he sent his people to take them into custody at gunpoint.

Allocco's people claim Patrick and his son were handed over to local authorities, where they were detained and interrogated for nearly seven hours.

The local US Embassy stepped in and got the 2 freed.  The US Embassy confirms they are back and safe in a hotel while the money situation is figured out.

Allocco's made public this statement:   "The hope is that Nas and Jemiah Jai will return all of the monies that were wired to them immediately so that our ransom may be paid and our safe return to the United States may be facilitated."

TMZ claims to have reached out to NAS for answers, but not gotten any returns.

Now that is some straight up mafia style stuff there!
