A Woman Is Auctioning Off A Chicken Nugget That Resembles George Washington

I have heard of people buying and selling some weird stuff, but this is just ridiculous.  A woman from Nebraska is auctioning off a McDonald's Chicken McNugget that she believes resembles George Washington.

About three years ago, Rebekah Speights took her kids to eat at McDonalds.  When everyone was done eating she began to clean up and noticed that one of the McNuggets had a funny shape.  It looked like George Washington.

"I looked down at the McNugget and just started laughing," Speights told the Journal. "I saw this portrait of George Washington staring back at me."

"As I was cleaning up, I noticed one particular nugget and began to laugh. I picked it up for a closer look, and sure enough it was in the likeness of President George Washington. I decided to take it home and show my husband this hysterical find."

Now Mrs. Speights is using the nugget for a bigger purpose.  She is auctioning it off to help raise money for a church summer camp.  The Sioux City Family Worship Center is hoping to raise $15,000 to send 50 children to a summer camp.

Although they will not get all the money from the sale of the nugget, it should help.  The McNugget has already received 17 different bids and was going for $356 on Ebay. The auction is scheduled to end on March 1^st.
