Amarillo & Canyon News – WTAMU Twitter Page Called WT Crushes Lets Students Tweet Their College Crushes And It’s Getting Dirty!
Do you remember that Smash or Pass page on Facebook that was done by an Amarillo High student? It was a page students would go onto and talk about other students and say whether they would "smash" or "pass". To clarify, smash is slang for having sex, example, a guy would say; "I'd like to smash that". Yeah guys are animals I know. Pass, well if I need to explain that still, you probably shouldn't be reading this. Any who, there's now a WT Crushes on Twitter that is pretty much the same thing. WTAMU students go on and talk about who they have a crush on at the college. Yet, as with most things, it's going just a tad to far and some Amarillo and Canyon students are being put on blast BIG TIME!
The page was created by a WT student, but we're also seeing Amarillo College students submitting tweets, the profile has literally blown up over night!
Most people think it's funny, and I'll admit, I did LMFAO as I was reading the tweets.
However, some of the things being said are getting pretty vulgar and there's a side note to add. The person who submits the tweet stays anonymous, while the names of the people they're tweeting about are just up there for the whole world to see!
Yes it can be hilarious, but my dad must have raised me a little different, he taught me to take responsibility for my actions. That's one thing people tweeting on WT Crushes don't have to do. They remain anonymous while these girls names they're posting about aren't, and they're saying some very dirty things. Ever heard the saying "if you got something to say, say it to my face"?
Look guys, your tweets are funny, but the fact that you're doing it anonymously makes you a coward in my opinion. Dude, if you like a girl, tell her! And for those guys going on and saying bad things about girls and giving their names, I'm guessing you're only doing that because they wouldn't even look twice at you. But hey, even some ladies are on there doing some tweeting so I guess it's all good right?

Oh and that's just the first 18 tweets! I spent about 30 minutes just reading and laughing at all the tweets when I was on the profile page some of them are just so freaking funny! This is the real power of the Internet!
