Another robbery took place today in Amarillo as the Toot N' Totum located at 24th & Western get's robbed by a man with a knife.

Officers responded to the call today at 9:49am to the knife-point robbery at the local convenience store, where the clerk was robbed by a man with a pocket knife.

Amarillo Police report:

On 12-17-12, at 9:49 AM, officers responded to a knife-point robbery of the Toot ‘n Totum Store at 2441 S. Western. The store employee, a white male age 49, told officers that the suspect entered the store carrying a small pocket knife. The robber approached the counter. He told the employee to open the drawer, and then told him to give him the money. The clerk complied with the armed man’s demand. The suspect then fled from the store and ran north and possibly east. The suspect was a white or Hispanic male about 5 feet 7 inches tall, medium to stocky build. His face was covered with some type of dark stocking mask. He was wearing a gray hooded jacket with the hood over his head. The jacket had a white patch, design, or spot on the top of the hood and on the back. He was also wearing gloves, blue jeans and white high topped tennis shoes.

 

There were no injuries in the robbery, and the photos above are of the suspect in this crime.
