2 Amarillo residents head off to Dallas, TX to lend a helping hand in the clean up after 12 tornadoes touched down in the metroplex of more than 5 million people.

American Red Cross, Amarillo division, volunteers, Raenell Gore and Jody Sosebee, left yesterday morning off to DFW to help clean up, pass out meals and dispense water in response to the tragic disaster that hit Dallas in the blink of an eye.

If your asking yourself how you can lend a helping hand, well the American Red Cross of North Texas is accepting monetary (money) donations in order to provide food, clothes and shelter to those in need.

You can text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief or visit www.redcrossdallas.org for more information.
