Amarillo Hockey Mask Robber Captured
He's hit Dollar General stores all over Amarillo, but not anymore. The hockey mask robber was captured, and evidence connecting the man was presented last Friday (November 14th) to make a case in the string of robberies.
On Sunday, November 9th, Mark Carlos Brown was picked up by APD for the robberies, after a little interrogation, and some searching of his house, detectives called it a day and booked him.
"Officers obtained consent to search the residence Brown had been staying at and a mask and BB gun was recovered and booked as evidence."
A charge of probation violation was added the following the next day.
APD (continued)
"On Friday November 14th APD Detectives presented a case to the Randall County DA’s office for review on the string of robberies with the matching description of a B/M wearing a hockey or “Jason” type mask. The Randall County DA’s office accepted one count of Armed Robbery from the Dollar General robbery on 11-8-14 and a warrant was issued and served on Brown. Brown remains in Potter County at this time."
Sitting on a one million dollar bond on an Aggravated Robbery charge, but Brown will be facing the remaining similar cases as they're presented to a Randall County Grand Jury at a later date.
He'll need a new HO-HO-HO-HOckey mask for Christmas this year...okay it sounded funny in my head now it makes no sense...I could just hit backspace but I refuse.
