Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute and the Panhandle Behavioral Health Initiative, along with Representative Four Price, are launching “Okay to Say” in Amarillo."Okay To Say" is a statewide initiative to bring attention and end the stigma surrounding mental health issues.  Did you know that 3 of 4 Texans either suffers from or knows someone who suffers from mental health issues.

There will be a kick off luncheon Wednesday at the Amarillo Foundation, 801 S. Fillmore Street, #700 in Amarillo beginning at 11:30am.  Special guests include, Representative Four Price, Laura Street from Panhandle Behavioral Health Initiative, and Andy Keller, the President and CEO of Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute. Following remarks, there will be a media Q + A with Street, Price and Keller.

It should be okay for someone to speak up and ask for help when it comes to their mental health. A conversation should be had to help end the stigma of mental health issues.
