Amarillo Prayers Go Out To Aurora, Colorado – Remembering The Victims

July 20th, 2012 will always be remembered and never forgotten. When a thoughtless and selfish person decided to enter a movie theatre with heavy artillery weapons and decided to shoot innocent people as they watched the premier of “Dark Knight Rises”. This awful act will always be remembered to lots of people across the world. The city of Aurora, Colorado has been shook up but will remain strong together. There was 12 Beautiful people taken from us. Many people lost a friend, brother, mother, father, sister, co-worker, and even a 6 year old daughter was taken. It hard to comprehend why would someone be so heartless to do such a horrible act like this. These 12 wonderful people have been taken from their family and now have been handed over to GOD who have now welcomed them with opened arms. Over the weekend I found out that one of my Radio Dj buddies in Colorado had lost his best friend Alex Sullivan. Our prayers go out to all the families and friends who were affected by this. Unfortunately July 20th, 2012 will always be remembered as the “Movie Massacre” but the 12 victims will NEVER BE FORGOTTENN! If you pass by the Kiss fm studios you’ll notice a cross with a banner of the pictures of all 12 victims. The least we can do is let Aurora, Colorado they are in our prayers. With Colorado being my hometown this really hurts me see them go thru all this, even after just being affected by the wild fires and now this. My brothers still live in Denver and when I heard about this I contacted them to see if they were OK. Even though Aurora, Colorado is hundreds of miles away they can still hear our prayers and receive our support. I will be leaving a drop box at the memorial location, we have set up a banner of pictures to remember the 12 victims that died last Friday. Please drop off a letter, message, or verse that you would want to pass on to the victims families. I will be sending all the letters to my contacts in Colorado to give to the families.
