Amarillo Zoo Is Giving Free Admission To Veterans, Active Service Members & First Responders On September 11th

It's Amarillo Zoo Day of Honor, as the Amarillo Zoo shows their appreciation to the people we rely on for our safety and security. All veterans, active service men and women and all first responders are invited to the Zoo on Thursday, Sept 11 for free admission.  Just present your proper identification to get in.  The public is welcome to join the day and sign the giant thank you cards to express appreciation for the efforts of these men and women.

Regular admission applies for the general public.

With all the negativity surrounding 9/11 and the rumors of a possible repeat event taking place, it's nice to see the Amarillo Zoo stepping up to give something positive!
