APD Investigation Of A Woman Jumping Out Of A Moving Vehicle

Amarillo Police are trying to determine what caused a 19 year old female to jump out of a moving vehicle at Lindberg and Wilson in Amarillo.  She suffered life-threatening injuries, and is at a local hospital.

Her name is being kept confidential at this time, but the question isn't so much who she is, more why she did it.

"The driver of the vehicle, Jabarel Trevel Mills, BM, 21 was driving west bound in the 1700 block of Lindberg in a 1999 Nissan Xterra at the time of the incident.  The woman that jumped out was a passenger in the Nissan."
The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Dept.
