Greetings! I'm Dallas Chambers and I'm glad you're checking out our website! I'll tell you a little bit about myself while you're here. I'm just a good ol' Texas boy. I was born in Corpus Christi, but grew up here in Amarillo. I graduated from Randall High in 1998 and that was when it all began. I started working in radio in 1999 and I haven't looked back. I LOVE RADIO! My passion for music and social interaction made this the perfect job for me. I really do have the greatest job in the world! I feel very blessed, not only do I have a fantastic job, but I have the best family a person could have. My family is my rock! They support me in everything I do and I love them so much for always having my back! I have a great wife and we have the cutest little son I love him so much! I would sacrifice everything for my family and friends because they will always be there for me and I know that deep in my heart. So that's me in a nutshell and I wouldn't have it any other way :) We should be friends! Hit me up Mon-Fri from 2p-6p at the request lines; 806-320-0969! I'll take your requests and play your songs, if you have traffic updates like a speed trap or a wreck, holla! Even if you just need someone to vent to, I'll be here awaiting your call :) Thank you so much for supporting 96.9 KISS-FM! YOU make this job the greatest job in the world!

Amarillo Residents Getting Email Saying “Neighborhood Child Predator Alert In Your Area”

I kind of found this odd, I don't usually get emails of this nature, should I be afraid?  Basically, the email reads "you are receiving this because there may be a risk of Sex Offender activity in your area".  Then, in a nutshell, it says if I'd like to know who it is and where they live, to click the link...so I clicked the link.  How many would you guess came up in the 79101 zip code?

Top “Why Do I” Searches On Google [PHOTOS]

As I continue this weird kick I'm on doing random searches to see what's being searched the most on Google, I'm finding out that the world is just as weird as I am.  That's relieving right there!  I've been shocked with the top search auto-fill results from "how to" and "why does", and today I figured I'd type in "why do I" and see what popped up.  What do you think the top auto-fill results are?

Only 8 of the 44 facilities in Texas that provide abortions are left after a law that requires all clinics to become ambulatory surgical centers to take effect.  Last week alone, 13 clinics were shut down.  The 8 left open are all in areas with a high income, about $61,000+ on average for the median household.

Vehicle Found In Amarillo’s Medi-Park Lake

APD did some fishing yesterday evening, of a black Ford pickup truck that was in Medi-Park Lake in Amarillo.  After the dive team hit the water, found the vehicle wasn't occupied, they immediately searched the area for a possible casualty and removed the truck from the water.  Thankfully, the search yielded nothing, and it was determined the truck was a stolen vehicle, assumed to have been dumped in the lake by the suspect to cover his tracks.

I've been on this kick where I type the the beginnings of a question or a few words just to see what Google decides to follow it up with on the auto-fill.  So today, I typed in "why does" and yet again, the top thing took me by surprise!  "Why does my pee smell"?  That's the top thing Google wants to auto-fill, what are people drinking or eating that's making them search this so much?
