After a massive amount of tornadoes touched down in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, there were many rumors about Six Flags Over Texas being in pretty bad shape. Well the rumors are just that, rumors. Rest assured that Six Flags DID NOT sustain any tornado damage and is good to go for the season opener, Friday, April 6th, 2012.

When you move to Dallas/Ft. Worth, you do it to get the heck away from the Amarillo weather, not to get closer to tornadoes! Dallas/Ft. Worth gets a lot of action from professional sports to movie stars, it's got it all! But one thing they don't get a whole lot of is tornadoes and lets face it, the city is not built to withstand the force a tornado brings with it.

What your looking at is an actual conversation from this morning between me and my mother-in-law. She was asking me for a phone number, and the hilarity ensued. I've had auto correct screw me over so bad, I've actually turned it off. But many people, like my mother-in-law, have not. So they'll try to send a message to someone and the auto correct will kick in and mess everything up just like this!

Jet Blue pilot Clayton "Crazy" Osbon had a federal court hearing today for charges that he "interfered with a flight crew". Of course this all stems from his colossal breakdown he had on flight 191 that had to make an emergency landing here in Amarillo.

So over the weekend I went to my very first IMAX/3D movie at UA and I gotta say my expectations were not met, but neither was I let down. I don't know if it's because I saw an "IMAX/3D" movie instead of just an "IMAX" movie, but it wasn't what I had expected. We just recently got the IMAX theaters at UA here in Amarillo, so I had no previous experience to compare it to, just a painting in my mind that friends whom had seen IMAX movies before had painted for me. Allow me to explain how I was kind of let down, yet very impressed all at the same time.

We're banging the new GOTYE - Somebody That I Used To Know on 96.9 KISS-FM and it is by far my favorite new jam on the radio station! It's got an old-school vibe, it's groovy, almost psychedelic. I think it rocks, and it seems you guys do too, as it's my most requested song on the Dallas Chambers Experience. Well a friend of mine tipped me to this wild cover of this song that I just have to hit you with! A version of the song, done by 5 people, played with only 1 guitar, but all 5 people are playing it at the same time! SAY WHAT!?!

I think we all have these fantasies about what we would do with all the money we got if we hit it big and won that $640 million jackpot in tonight's Mega Millions drawing. I'd definitely have to buy a Bugatti Veyron, give my family and friends a few million bucks, maybe buy this radio station I work for too. But one thing a lot of us don't fantasize about is, what local charity or charities would you drop $1 million bucks to?
