A hemp growing operation in the 1500 block of South Alabama Street was shut down today! Two local resident from Amarillo on Friday were detained and charged with possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone.

So I've done radio both in Lubbock, Texas and Amarillo. I've came to the conclusion that I'd rather live in Amarillo,Texas. It's cleaner and the people here in Amarillo are way nicer. Don't get me wrong I have some friends in Lubbock that are really nice and welcomed me with open arms when I did radio out there. But I have my own reasons why I think Amarillo is better then Lubbock! So here we go with my top 5 reasons why Amarillo is better then Lubbock, Texas.
