As parents you want to influence your children in the best ways possible.  You want them to get all your good and none of your bad.  Unfortunately, it doesn't always work out that way.   Especially when you are the mom to a boy that wants to be just like his daddy.

I'll admit that me and my hubby have changed a bunch since we became parents.  I make homemade meals most nights, date night now includes three people, we try and watch our language and if it isn't a cartoon, we can't watch it until it's on DVD.  But there are a few bad habits that have been hard to break.  (More for him than me.)

My son is almost five and he wants nothing more than to grow up and be exactly like his daddy.  He wants his hair like his, he wants to dress like him, he wants to work in the garage with his dad and so on.  So when he sees his dad drinking straight from the orange juice jug, he wants to do the same thing.

This is one of my greatest pet peeves of all time!  Since we met, I have been trying to break him of that habit.  I am constantly nagging about him not being the only one in the house and how gross it is.  And it is gross.  Now his germs are in every glass of juice that gets drank.

I love them both dearly, but when I walked in the kitchen and saw them passing the jug back and forth I flipped out.  Not only is he doing something that I hate, but now he is teaching our son to do the same.

5 Things That My Hubby Teaches Our Son That Annoy Me

1. Drinking out of the juice jug

2. Spitting

3. Peeing outside

4. Wasting water

5. Biting his nails

Kids are like sponges.  If you don't want them to do something, you shouldn't either.  I just wish my husband understood that drinking from a juice jug isn't something cool. :(
