Boy Dies After Jumping Into Cold Lake For The ‘Cold Water Challenge’ [VIDEO]

A viral dare sweeping the country and all over Facebook called the 'Cold Water Challenge' might have been the factor of taking a young mans life.

It's a challenge that people are daring others to jump in cold water withing 24 hours or the have to donate $100.00 to a charity. Videos on Facebook have shown people jumping in lakes, swimming pools filled with cold water and ice cubes and etc.

16 year -old Davis Colley from Minneapolis-St. Paul was pulled from Minnesota's Eagle Lake on Friday night. His friends said he was challenged to the 'Cold Water Challenge' a jumped into the freezing waters of Minnesota's Eagle Lake and never returned to the surface! Police told local media the incident remains under investigation.

Other injuries have been reported of kids jumping into the frigid waters of Lake Michigan.
