California Lifeguards Fired For “Gangnam Style” Inspired Video – “Lifeguard Style” Mayor Seeks To Get Their Jobs Back [VIDEO/POLL]

El Monte, CA lifeguards were fired after releasing a video on Youtube, Lifeguard Style, and mayor Andre Quintero asks the city council to bring them back to work.
The video has more than 2 million views, and a few out of shape lifeguards, and is actually pretty freaking good!
The pool supervisors cited a policy barring “misuse of municipal property” when they fired the lifeguards.
When word hit, even the artist PSY, who is responsible for the madness we call Gangnam Syle, showed his support for the lifeguards on Facebook.
In all, 14 lifeguards lost their jobs for doing the video spoof, while the city council is considering reinstating them, nothing has been done as of this moment.
