It's that time of year again. The time for catfish. Catfish season is upon us and it's time to break out the fishing poles and tackle.

You can't have Easter without some amazing animals, and you can't have some amazing animals without the Amarillo Zoo. That's why you need to mark your calendars for the Amarillo Zoo's Easter Egg-citement. Even the animals get in on the Easter fun.

I am going to start off by saying, my heart is a bit broken today. It's been seven days since I've seen my cat Lemmy.

It's a sad world we live in when a human being, tosses a helpless animal into a dumpster. I get it if you don't want the animal. Take it to a shelter, take it to the Animal Animal Management and Welfare, take it to Facebook and ask for someone to adopt it from you. You don't just throw it in the trash.

A pet is one of the biggest blessings in life. To have your furry best friend and family member. A pet is a big commitment, but they make life so much sweeter. If you have been considering a new pet, then please consider adoption. This weekend is the perfect weekend to find your new fur baby.

The Amarillo Animal Management & Welfare are making a few changes to their hours to make it more convenient for Amarillo residents.

If you are looking for a great volunteer opportunity this Summer that surrounds you with some amazing animals, then it's time to look into volunteering with the Amarillo Zoo.  The Amarillo Zoo is a fun place to spend time and learn about all the amazing animals.  If you have time to give and you love animals and want to learn more, then it's time to be a part of the Zoo Crew.

Over the weekend a three month old puppy was found in a dumpster behind a local church.

Over the weekend our family had yet a not so fun pet adventure involving our newest kitten.

The Amarillo SPCA brought us Katie this week.  I fell in love when they walked in. You will too!

When you have a pet, they become a part of your family. No one wants to think about losing their pet and that's why getting them microchip is a great idea. If they get lost, then any vet, shelter, etc can scan them and find you!
