Tornado Watch In Effect Until 10pm Tonight For Amarillo And Pretty Much The Entire Texas Panhandle

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in effect until 10pm tonight for pretty much the entire Texas Panhandle except the most northern portions. This does include Amarillo, so brace yourself for severe weather, and keep it KISS-FM for all your updates as we progress through this afternoon & evening!

Okay, so they say there are 2 sides to every story, I say there are 3 sides to every story! There's 1 person's side, the other person's side, and then there's the actual truth. The hardest part is, knowing the truth can be very hard. When all you have is someone's story to go off, you can only take the knowledge you're given and base your judgement off that. Well a mother of one of the students at River Road High that got one of the "Worst Band Member Award" certificates called me to say that there was nothing funny about this, and her son was not involved in the "practical joke" that was allegedly organized by the students.

Okay so Nathan Lewis just called me, he's a drum major at River Road High, and he wanted to clear the air about the "Worst Band Member Award" that was recently shared by me. Where the band director for River Road allegedly issued the award to 3 students in the class. Nathan calls to back his teacher up, and pull Marci Criswell completely out of the equation, saying it was a "practical joke put on by the students".

Today at approximately 10:38am, the First Bank of Southwest located at 5701 SW 34th in Amarillo was robbed, for what I believe is the 2nd time this year! I drove by just in time to snap some photos of Amarillo Police cars blocking the entrances to the bank, and that was a huge red flag to me that something had went down.
