DQ’s New Caramel Apple Pie Blizzard Was Love At First Bite

Our friends at Dairy Queen dropped off their new limited fall menu Blizzards off here at 96-9 KISS FM and I have to admit, I LOVE the new Caramel Apple Pie Blizzard! Now the Caramel Apple Pie Blizzard is a combination of vanilla soft serve with REAL pieces of apple pie all mixed in and topped with whipped cream and nutmeg. Heaven. It was my favorite. But just to make sure I had to try all of the new flavors.

Oreo Mocha Fudge Blizzard - if you like Oreos and a hint of coffee, this is for you. As a coffee drinker, this one was a great mix of mocha and coffee.

Choco-dipped Strawberry Blizzard - vanilla soft serve with bits of strawberry and chocolate flakes. This is like biting into a juicy chocolate-covered strawberry.

Snickerdoodle Cooke Dough Blizzard - just like a snickerdoodle cookie. It has that traditional cookie taste with bits of cookie dough that you won't get with a cookie.

Brownie Dough Blizzard - what can I say about this one. If you are a chocolate lover, this one is for you. Gooey fudge brownie mixed in ice cream. Bliss.

Okay, I'll admit I tried them all. I can't pick a favorite. But I will tell you all five special flavors are available right now at Amarillo's three area Dairy Queen locations. Along with having drive-thrus, Amarillo DQ offers delivery. Yes ma'am or sir, Blizzards on your doorstep. 2020 isn't so bad after all with some DQ. I also recommend a BeltBuster burger and fries to start off. Burgers, fries, ice cream. This is a no brainer.
