Dubstep The Newest Kind Of Music Hitting The Clubs And Streets

From I-pod's to the Djs in the club and raves Dubstep seems to be the newest style of music people are wanting. Well actually Dubstep has been around since 1998. Dubstep is the newest genre of music that people in the U.S. are listening to. So your probably wondering what is Dubstep?

Wikipedia says:

"Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in south London, England. Its overall sound has been described as "tightly coiled productions with overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals"

So occasionally I get calls thru the request line to play some Dubstep on the radio. Is this just a phase that people are going to go thru? I remember back in 2004 Reggaeton was hot across the country, which caused radio-stations to flip format and play Reggaeton all day on the radio, but that only lasted for like 2 years. I really don't see radio-station doing that by playing Dubstep music all day and all night long. Don't get me wrong I'm starting to like Dubstep music more and more as I listen to it, at times you'll hear me playing it at the clubs and recently I might throw in a Top 40 Dubstep remix in the 9 o'clock Kiss mix. Dallas Chambers introduced this Dubstep song to me by Skrillex called "First Of The Year" the video is tripped out!
