Dad Gets Arrested After Son Skips Church Bus

A father is in hot water after being arrested because his 8 year old son skipped the bus to go to church. 8 year old Justin decided to go play with his friends instead of attending the Sunday service.

Every Sunday the church van comes by the family's house to pick up the kids to take them to church. Well this past Sunday the kids ran into their house to tell dad that the van was here to pick them up everyone got on but Justin. 8 year old Justin had different plans, he decided to go hang with his friends then going to church.

Dad had no idea that Justin did not get on the van. Justin ended up at the Family Dollar store about a half mile from home. Blanchester Police Chief Scott Reinbolt said they asked if he watched the children board the bus, Williamson said he had not. Blanchester police brought Justin home at the same time the children were dropped off by the church van. Just in time to see their dad get arrested!

The father could be facing first-degree misdemeanor charge of child endangerment, which could land him in jail for up to six months.
