A&E’s hit reality show, Hoarders, showed us just how close to home people with this serious problem are.  Hoarders latest episode featured Jan of Canyon, TX, who hadn’t taken the trash out since 2006 and was facing eviction from her home.

Jan’s situation was very sad and pretty devastation to watch play out on TV.  Her house had become overrun by cats.  Her toilet was a sight that nobody should have to see.  Her life was falling apart as she literally built a wall of trash around her.

For 6 years straight the trash was not carried out of her home, leaving it to build up in huge mountains.

The cats took over the vast majority of the house and without proper care, it became a hazard.  There was cat feces covering everything from the carpet, to the furniture, to the appliances.  The ammonia in the air was so thick, it actually killed one of her cats, and that happened while the TV crew was there so it’s partially caught on camera.

Jan truly lived in a dump and needed help.  Thankfully, her family and the good people at A&E gave her that help!

Jan, much like the other people that have been featured on hoarders, went through the denial stages, blaming others for what had happened.  However, by the last day of shooting, she rolled up her sleeves to get her hands dirty and clean her place up.

We now see a new Jan thanks to the loving and caring family of hers, and of course all of the hard workers at A&E’s Hoarders.  After a makeover to her house, and her, she appears to have decided to make a change for the better.  Which is pretty rare in the cases of hoarders.  If you’ve ever watched the show, you know that most of the people featured on the show don’t make a change for the better.  Jan seems to be a brand new person and I applaud her for taking the initiative to make a change!  I also applaud her family for putting in the long hours over those few days as they moved out something like 5 tons of trash!

My guess is, Daniel Von Bargen, got called Mr. Kruger and heard 1 to many of Jerry Seinfeld’s jokes and just couldn’t take it anymore.  He is currently clinging to life in an Ohio hospital after shooting himself in the head in an attempted suicide.  Hear the horrific 911 phone call obtained by TMZ.

In the call, Daniel tells the 911 operator “I’ve shot myself in the head, and I need help”.  The operator asks if it was an accident to which Daniel replied: “I was supposed to go to the hospital and I didn’t want to.” He then went on to explain how he is diabetic and they were to amputate at least 2 of his toes.  The operator asked where the gunshot wound is and Daniel replies: “I shot in my temple.”

TMZ Says

Law enforcement officials confirm they were dispatched to von Bargen’s Cincinnati apartment complex a short time later — and when they arrived, you can hear them on the 911 tape … yelling at Daniel to keep his hands where they could see them.

This really sucks, Daniel is a really funny guy.  I remember him best for his role as Chief Grady in the movie Super Troopers.

Well Amarillo it’s about that time for the yearly Warrant Round Up! “Bad boys, Bad boys, what ya gonna do,what ya gonna do when they come for you”. You can run you can hide but they’ll come looking for you if you have a warrant. Law enforcement will be sweeping the city for all them unpaid tickets that have led to warrants, and let me tell you there’s lots of them!  How about 39,000 outstanding warrants that’s a value of $11 million dollars to the city. Just like if someone owed you $25 you’d want your cash right. Well I guess the city wants their $11 million dollars.

Starting Saturday Feb. 25th police from all over will be beating down your door to arrest you if you have a warrant issued. They will start at your home, work, school, and even clubs to hunt you down. The city can taste money in their mouth and will get you, so they can collect on all these unpaid tickets.

The city is giving you till Saturday to pay them unpaid fines! If not then you will be put on the “Roundup” list. And how embarrassing would that be to be picked up at work in front of all your co-workers handcuffed and thrown in the back of the cop car ready to be hauled off to jail. Not only will you be facing embarrassment but also if you go to jail that might put you out of commission for a couple of day from work then you could possibly lose your job!

So I think the best option is to go and pay the ticket by Saturday so your not put in that situation. Law enforcement WILL NOT put up with any excuses especially when they have the city breathing down their back to collect their $11 million dollars. So I don’t want to see any of my Kiss listeners on the next episode of “Cops Amarillo” edition So please go pay your tickets!

Everyone knows that going on the Howard Stern Show means getting asked some deep questions.  Adam Levine dropped by this week and was asked about his relationship and Christina Aguilera’s weight.

Howard Stern began by asking Adam Levine why Christina Aguilera has gotten “so fat” and called her “plus size”.  Although Levine seemed uncomfortable, he answered some questions.

“This is a sensitive subject for women, but why do you think she’s gotten so heavy?” Stern asked Levine. “Is she upset? … She used to be so f***ing hot … And her clothes are too tight, right?”

“Her clothes are tight. She likes to wear tight clothes,”  careful with his response Levine said. “She clearly likes to talk about being comfortable with being a woman and snapping her fingers and doing the whole thing.”

Howard pushed even further saying, “Yeah, but when you’re a plus-size woman, you can’t wear the tight clothes anymore.”

“I wouldn’t go that far, actually,” Levine said.

When asked what size Aguilera is, the “Voice” coach wisely responded, “I’m keeping my f***ing mouth shut.”

Stern then went on to question the Maroon 5 singer about his girlfriend and their relationship.

Adam has been proudly dating Victoria’s Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna, 25, for two years now.

“This is the longest, most functional relationship I’ve ever been in,” he told Howard on his show. “I don’t want to screw it up.”

Anna joined the conversation to share how they met.  The two met when Maroon 5 was hired to play at a party for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

“He thought I was a stuck-up b**** and I kind of thought he was a d***bag musician,” she explained.

But after getting drinks, they realized they got along.

Now, Adam and Anne are as close as a couple can get. At least, we hope so since they’re not exactly being very safe with their birth control.

Adam then revealed to Stern he uses “a fool-proof birth-control system,” the pull-out method.

“I didn’t start a band to get girls,” Adam said with a laugh. “I stayed in the band to get girls.”.

Okay there is no proof that Carrot Top has ever taken steroids, but damn he sure does look like it!  Or I guess I should say “did” look like it.  The freakish muscular ginger has dropped 30 pounds in an effort to look normal again.

TMZ caught up with Mr. Top in Hollywood last night, where he admitted that he has stopped his weight lifting regime and has began focusing on cardio.  This all in an effort to shed muscle mass.

When TMZ asked if “he was sick of being buff”, he simply replied “it didn’t fit my style”.

Yeah you could say it didn’t fit his style.  First, he kind of looks like a girl, when you added all that muscle in, wow!  It looked like a steroid plunging woman with hair as red as the devil himself!  I mean look at this picture and tell me I’m wrong.

If you have ever watched the Ellen DeGeneres show, then you know that she loves to dance.  Not only does she love to dance, but she loves it when people come on her show and dance for her.  Something Justin Theroux couldn’t get out of.

Justin Theroux is making rounds to promote his movie Wanderlust, which will hit theaters this weekend.  On his publicity tour, he made a stop at the Ellen show.  While chatting it up, he mentions that his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, is obsessed with him break dancing, so he made up a rule that he will only do it if he has his break dancing shoes.

Lucky for Ellen, Aniston sent his shoes to her so he could show off his moves.

Over the weekend WWE Superstar CM Punk sent out a tweet aimed at Chris Brown. Since then the two have been back and forth and this morning CM Punk put out a video calling out Chris Brown.

The Twitter war started after Punk randomly tweeted that he wants to “curb stomp” Brown at an upcoming WWE event because he wants Brown to “fight somebody that can defend themselves.”

When Chris Brown heard his message he immediately hit back with a message of his own … writing, “@CMpunk needs more followers. He’s such a leader! Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women.”
Brown then added, “@CMpunk contact my assistant and I’ll have em send u an autographed pic for my biggest FAN!!!”
And wrestling fan knows that Punk is proud to be “straight edge,” which means he has never drank or done any type of drugs. So these steroid comments made Punk fire back with a video challenging Brown to a match for charity.
In the video, he not only ‘punks’ Brown, but he pretty much says that he knows he will not accept the challenge because ‘he isn’t a man.’

So far the only response Chris Brown has given is on Twitter.  Basically he is saying that nobody know who Punk is and that he is just using Brown’s name to get publicity.  Now I am not taking sides, but CM Punk is not only the WWE Heavyweight Champion, but he his the best merchandise seller in the WWE.  His merchandise sells more than John Cena and The Rock’s, so people know him.

I know many people think that wrestling is fake, and I agree that a lot of it is staged, but in my opinion these wrestlers can take a beating.  They get hit with chairs, thrown off ladders, and slammed repeatedly.  I think Chris Brown would be smart not to accept Punk’s challenge.

Facing huge budget shortfalls, the United States Postal Service has proposed solutions including closing hundreds of post offices and eliminating Saturday deliveries. Now it may be considering jacking up the price of stamps, too.

The popularity of internet services like online bill pay have led in part to a 1.7 percent decline in mail volume, causing the USPS to anticipate losing $14.1 billion in 2012 — with bigger losses expected in the years to come.

In response, postal officials sent a letter to Congress last Thursday in which they recommended several changes, including the possibility of increasing the price of a stamp from its current 45 cents up to 50 cents. While stamp prices have gone up four times since 2006, chief financial officer Joe Corbett said, “Clearly, we’re [still] underpriced [and] would like the ability to move that price up.”

The USPS says the extra nickel, which would likely be added in one or two-cent increments until 2015, would raise revenues by $1 billion annually. Although taxpayers don’t foot the bill to keep the postal service running, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe told Congress that failing to help the organization limit its losses would result in a “long-term burden to the American taxpayer.”

Looks like Chris Brown has some more Twitter beef. His latest target isn’t a fellow musician, though. It’s professional wrestler CM Punk.

On Sunday night (Feb. 19), CM Punk tweeted, “I would like @chrisbrown fight somebody that can defend themselves. Me curb stomping that turd would be a #wrestlemania moment.” Them’s fightin’ words — literally!

TMZ reports that Breezy caught wind of the tweet, and, as he’s prone to do, lashed out. Though the message has since been deleted, the site reports that Brown wrote, “@CMpunk needs more followers. He’s such a leader! Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women [sic].” Come on, Breezy! Would it kill you to take the high road?

Brown immediately followed the angry tweet with a condescendingly kind one, writing, “Positivity regardless of how u feel! @CMpunk contact my assistant and I’ll have em send u an autographed pic for my biggest FAN!!!”

This is the second Twitter rant Brown’s been on in a week. This weekend, Brown fired back at country singer Miranda Lambert, who held up a sign reading ‘Take notes Chris Brown’ at a recent concert.

Following his Grammy win, Brown was lambasted for writing, “HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F— OFF!” He’s since erased most of his feed and claimed the offensive post was from one of his handlers. Mmmhmm.

C’mon, Breezy. When even your mom is telling you to lay off, maybe it’s time to give your thumbs a break.

Virgin Galactic

Last month Virgin Galactic announced it would begin offering commercial space flights later this year.

The two-and-a-half hour trip just cracks the space barrier and offers about five minutes of weightlessness. It also comes with a fairly prohibitive price tag of $200,000 a pop.

But let’s say money was no object. Would you want to be among the first commercial space travelers?

Poll Position asked 1,145 adults that very question and found that only 23 percent thought the thrill of the great beyond outweighed the risks. Fifty-two percent said they would not be willing to take such a flight and 26 percent had no opinion.

Singer Chris Brown is a perfect villain for the world of wrestling. Current and former WWE champs CM Punk and the Iron Sheik are using Twitter to call out the Grammy-winning R&B performer, who is most infamous for assaulting fellow singer and former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

Current WWE heavyweight champion CM Punk started the Twitter fight with this tweet:

Smartly, Chris Brown has yet to respond to the Iron Sheik. However, Brown is tweeting away with Rihanna, as the two have released remixed versions out of her song ‘Birthday Cake’ and Brown’s new single ‘Turn Up the Music.’

If the singers’ relationship stays on this WWE-like track, many people would be glad to see Rihanna dust Brown with a steel chair.

Taylor Swift and Zac Efron recently appeared on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ to promote their new Dr. Seuss movie ‘The Lorax,’ and when Degeneres wasn’t asking them about their film project, she was grilling them about relationship rumors. Degeneres asked Swift and Efron what they did for Valentine’s Day, but apparently there are no actual romantic sparks flying between the singer and actor.

Swift explained that she had quite the low-key, anti-love Valentine’s Day celebration with her girlfriends. “I actually had a pathetic single girls party,” Swift told Degeneres. “I’m not saying that like being single is pathetic — we’ve talked about it and I think it’s awesome. But I had all my single girlfriends over and we ate junk food and just ate whatever we wanted and danced and we made these little profile cards about why we’re single.”

While Swift, 22, celebrated her single status on Feb. 14, Efron, 24, actually wooed an anonymous young lady (“a friend” as he put it) with a home-cooked meal. He also responded to Swift’s Valentine’s Day single girls party with a laugh, saying, “That’s so different from what single guys do.”

Later on, Degeneres gifted ‘The Lorax’ co-stars with helpful T-shirts adorned with specific relationship statuses for every situation, including one that read “We’re just friends,” and another that read, “We only hooked up once.” Despite the fact that they Efron and Swift would most likely rock the “We’re just friends” shirts, they have been getting personal on a musical level. Swift has actually been teaching Efron how to play guitar, and they performed a snippet of Foster the People‘s ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ on the show. Check out the clip below!

The 23rd season of ‘The Simpsons’ will go out with a bang, as that’s when the episode featuring Lady Gaga will air.

Gaga taped her ep late last summer and just like ‘SNL’ last May, she will appear on a season finale of a long-running comedy show. ‘The Simpsons’ remains the longest airing scripted show on prime time TV, while ‘SNL’ has been airing since 1975, so Gaga has a penchant for appearing on some of the most beloved shows on the small screen.

The Mother Monster’s episode is called ‘Lisa Goes Gaga’ and Gaga factors into the plot as someone who comes to Springfield in order to cheer up little Lisa, who is often the voice of reason on the show.

The Telegraph reports that Gaga has mused about her role on the show, saying, “I play a little bit of a slut. The apple doesn’t fall far from my artistic tree.”

Uh oh. Is Gaga going to be a bad influence on the sweet and wholesome Lisa Simpson? Will she teach her how to dance? Will she whip Bart into shape? Will she give Marge hair tips? Will she eat donuts with Homer? The possibilities are endless.

The exact air date of the season finale of ‘The Simpsons’ has not yet been confirmed, but it should air sometime in May. PopCrush will certainly recap the episode for you, dear reader!

In case you’re one of those people who treat hott guys as more than just a piece of meat, the male model’s name is Maxwell Zagorski. And he didn’t disappear. When someone grows a mustache, all of society benefits, since the visually pleasing facial hair is now on display for all to see. Yet the costs of maintaining a proper lip sweater falls only on the mustachioed individual.

The fine folks at the American Mustache Institute want to change this. So they recently proposed the “Stimulus To Allow Critical Hair Expenses,” or the STACHE ACT, which awards a $250 tax credit to every mustached American. They are also calling for a Million Mustache March in support of the act that will take place in Washington DC on April 1st. (Yup, always a bit suspicious.)

The AMI, who partnered with H&R Block on the proposal, even  drew up a white paper on why the STACHE act is necessary. Here is its summery:

In summary, the grooming habits of Mustached Americans are a clear example of financial, social and environmental responsibility—the triple bottom line. It is appropriate that Congress allow a limited number of deductions to people of Mustached American heritage in recognition of the value that their lifestyle provides to the economy, to society, and to the environment.

Nick Jonas is back on the market. The 19-year-old ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’ star has officially split with girlfriend Delta Goodrem, 27. The couple were first linked together nine months ago.

“Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship,” Australian singer’s manager said in a statement. “At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths. They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future.”

The May-December romance began in 2011, shortly after Goodrem split from ‘Australia’s Got Talent’ judge and former boy band member Brian McFadden, her boyfriend of seven years. Before dating the statuesque pop singer, Jonas was linked to ‘Les Miserables’ star Samantha Barks, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.

Despite their eight-year age difference, the relationship seemed to work. The pair reportedly collaborated on songs and vacationed together in Mexico last fall.

Since they first began seeing each other, both stars have entered new projects, including Jonas’ stint as J. Pierrepont Finch on Broadway and Goodrem’s role as a coach on the Australian version of ‘The Voice.’ The Jonas Brother can next be seen as a guest star on the Feb. 27 episode of ‘Smash.’

Jazz FM listeners who normally tune in for smooth sounds instead heard some rough stuff when a UK station’s ‘Funky Sensation’ program played the full audio from a pornographic movie over the airwaves this weekend.

Station representatives were light on details as to who or what caused the gaffe, claiming it was the result of “unauthorized access to the live feed.” Jazz FM Program Director Mike Vitti promised swift punishment for the unnamed culprit and said listeners should expect an apology (sans explicit grunting) when they tune in this weekend.

Vitti originally tweeted on Saturday that the unintended broadcast was “a major hack into the feed” and that station engineers were investigating.

The world is filled with terrible news, so it’s nice for us to find a story with a happy ending once in awhile.  Not that type of happy ending. Pervert. Here is an amazing story about a Swedish man who was stranded in a snow drift for 61 days.

Snowmobilers came across the car thinking it was wreckage. They peeked inside to find someone wrapped in a sleeping bag in the back seat.  Rescuers dug the 45-year-old man out of the car, and he was so weak he could hardly speak–yet alone explain what happened.  He said he’s been in the car since December 19th. Probably hiding out so he didn’t have to buy his family Christmas gifts. The man survived by eating snow and icicles.

Humans can last up to four weeks without food, so its plausible that the man was stranded for as long as he said he was.  His body temperature was around 31 degrees Celsius when he was brought into the hospital.  With his body temperature so low, he wasn’t using much energy.  This also helped him to survive. Like bears, humans can also go into a dormant-like state (especially during football season).
