Former Canyon ISD Employee Having Misconduct With Student

Well it’s another case of a local school district employee involved in “misconduct” with a student. I’m pretty sure that means “relationship” with a student, or maybe “sexual misconduct”, but alas, I might be wrong.
Canyon ISD officials were informed of the situation on April 30th and assure everyone that the employee is a former employee that worked for the district for a very short time, from March 9th until April 26th, 2012.
“The individual is no longer employed with the district in any capacity,” the district said in a statement.
Law enforcement has been notified of the allegations, officials said.
“The district will cooperate with law enforcement to the extent permitted by law and has taken all appropriate actions relating to this individual,” the district said. “The district will have no further comment on this matter unless new information or allegations are presented.”
There really isn’t a ton of information about it, all I am getting is “former employee”. That could be anything from a teacher to a custodian. So your guess is just as good as mine.
