Former River Road baseball coach, John David Bryan, has entered a plead of guilty to "6 second-degree felony charges of an improper relationship between an educator and student".

Former coach Bryan, who is 33, received 10 years deferred adjudication, a $1500 fine, and 180 days in jail for his crime.  On top of that, he is required to have no contact, other than family, with a child under the age of 17.  Plus, he got some community service.

He was arrested on Thursday, so I guess he's currently sitting in a jail cell, just counting the days.

I'm sorry, but in my opinion, this was way to light of a sentence!  10 years deferred adjudication, that basically means it won't be on his record once his sentence is completed!  Another WTH!
