There's going to be a hike this Saturday at Palo Duro Canyon State Park.  Experience what the canyon is like after dark. You can learn about night creatures, moon phases, and other cool nighttime things on this hike.  It's only about 2 miles long.

If you are interested, meet at the new Wolfberry Day Use Area at the back of the park near water crossing #6. The fee is the regular park entry fees ($5 per adult, children 12 & under are free). No charge for this program.

Check out their Facebook page for the hike.

Here's a couple of tips for the hike:

  • Dress for the weather, wear good hiking shoes or boots
  • Bring a flashlight or headlamp.
  • Also be sure to bring plenty of water to drink

And ask questions you might want to ask about the canyon or the park. This is sure to be a good time!
