If this was a roller coaster at a fair, I wouldn't dare ride it, but the Gravity Max, located at Discovery World in Lihpao Land in Taiwan, is something I might actually give a shot.  Their theme is "creating moments of joy", they should add "creating moments of jor and OMG" to that slogan.  Would you ride this?  A roller coaster that the tracks actually separate on, then reconnect, and sends riders on a vertical drop of pure fear!

Hot 1079
"Here is how it works:

After the train reaches the end of the horizontal tilt segment, a hook grabs the rear car of the train. This holds the train in place during the tilting. As a safety precaution, a large block of steel at the front of the tilt segment prevents the train from rolling off the end should the hook fail. After the tilted track segment is vertical and in line with the vertical drop, the block is pulled away and the hook is released."

To briefly sum it up, it looks freaking frightening!

Would you ride this first of it's kind roller coaster?

Also known as the "tile coaster", it's one of the few roller coasters that features a 90 degree drop, but that's after the tracks separate and reconnect...

You in?  How about we just go ride the Drop of Fear and Texas Tornado at Wonderland in the meantime?

Check out the video of the roller coaster in action below.
