Highway 287 Temporarily Closed Due To Traffic Accident

****Update**** Highway 287 is no longer closed, it's now just moving very slow!

I've received confirmations that Highway 287 is closed due to a traffic accident, causing delays, and maybe even some road rage.

From what I gather, the accident took place in Claude on 287, right around the Veterinarian clinic on 287.  It's basically running all the way up through Claude.

You can take the "old Claude Highway" to get around the traffic if you're in a hurry.

My understanding is that Highway 287 is good heading back to Amarillo, it's heading the opposite direction that will give you trouble.

I've been told that a semi-truck, hauling cattle, collided with a PT Cruiser.

Again, take the old Claude Highway if you wanna just get around the entire mess.
