I’m Not From Texas, So I Didn’t Know What This Was
So I freely admit not being from Texas. But the other day I had to record a commercial for a car insurance company. In the script, there was the word "Metricula". What the hell is it and how do you say it?
Turns out, Metricula is a Mexican ID card. You can use that to get car insurance in the United States. Made sense after I looked it up. However, I wasn't the only Texan in the building that didn't know what it was. I didn't feel so bad when I found that out.
I'm sure there will be other things about Texas I don't know. I'll just cross that bridge when I get there.
