Is Buying Your Baby And Toddler Name Brand Clothing A Waste Of Money [POLL]

Kids grow super fast. One day they are wearing size 3t the next month they are in a 4t. The growth spurts are unpredictable. So is buying your babies and toddlers name brands a waste of money?
I am a first time mom so when my son was born I went crazy and bought him all kinds of name brands in clothing and shoes. Well it wasn’t until yesterday that I realized it was such a waste of money.
When I had my baby I got so many gifts and of course I went crazy buying things. I wanted the best for my son so he had tons of name brand clothing since birth. He grew so fast that a lot of his clothes went unused.
My sister just found out that she was having a little boy so I decided to dig through my son’s old clothes and see what I could give her. Everything I looked a looked brand new. I have boxes and boxes of Nike, Converse, Polo, and Puma shoes. All of them are so tiny and so new.
The clothing was still brand new-Ralph Lauren, Polo, Osh Kosh, and Tony Hawk. My son grew so fast that he didn’t get a chance to wear all his clothing. I feel like I wasted a ton of money.
Yeah, he looked cute, but he would have looked cute in clothes that wasn’t name brand. So I feel like I wasted a bunch of money but what do you think? Is buying your babies and toddlers name brands a waste of money?
