Does The Magnet Quarter Beer Opening Trick Really Work? [VIDEO]

Lately a video has been trending on Facebook and Instagram of a a guy who opens a bottle of beer without a bottle opener. How does he do it?

All he used was 2 items you probably have laying around the house. A refrigerator magnet, and a quarter. He places the bottle on top of the magnet and taps the neck of the bottle with a quarter and the caps pops off.

I really couldn't believe it so I thought I'd try it and see if it works.
