Joseph Keith Hayes Of Amarillo Indicted On Murder Charges
34 year old Joseph Keith Hayes of Amarillo was indicted by a Randall County grand jury on charges of murder and aggravated assault, after an alleged February homicide.
"On Feb. 15, Amarillo police arrested Joseph Keith Hayes, 34, after they found the body of Nathaniel Wayne Miller, 30, in apartment 215D at The Lighthouse Apartments, 4530 Maverick St."
Police said they also found a woman who was bleeding due to lacerations inside the apartment and she was transported to a local hospital, then transferred to a medical facility in Lubbock.
Preliminary autopsy showes Miller died due to sharp-force trauma.
