Katie Spielbauer faces the death penalty or life in prison without parole after accusations of beating and killing her husband's ex-wife back in April.  A Randall county grand jury has officially indicted Spielbauer for capital murder.  It's been made public that Randall County District Attorney, James Farren, says they are not seeking the death penalty in the case.  It appears her husband, Jeremy Spielbauer could be facing some time as well.

"Katie Spielbauer is accused of beating and killing her husband’s ex-wife Robin Spielbauer. Robin’s body was found in a ditch by her SUV in April.

The indictment was handed down last week, but the husband, Jeremy Spielbauer, could face some heat as well for not showing up to the grand jury. Farren said the county filed a motion for a show-cause hearing to find out why he didn’t show up.

Farren said the grand jury has until next week to act on that motion."

The Randall county DA says the evidence is there, clear and sufficient to demonstrate that Spielbauer murdered Robin Spielbauer.  Will the jury agree?
