Hey whats up everybody this is Tommy I had a listener message me on a story she read earlier today about Drug testing welfare recipients. Here’s the message she sent me along with a photo.
“Hey tommy I read the article in yall’s website earlier today about welfare people being drug tested.
I am totally 100% for this! It totally pisses me off that one of my family member is on welfare and food-stamps and takes advantage of it. They lie about their monthly income and the people living in her house. What really gets me is she lets people use her lonestar card in exchange for “the green” and pills.
I am a single mother of 2 receiving some child support each month and work over 40 hours a week and can barely get by. It makes me sick to see people who abuse the system that was designed to help people get BACK on their feet. I have applied for assistance but was told i made to much money!
What’s frustrating the most is the other day she pulled up in a brand new 2012 Charger. This has me so angry that I’m thinking about turning her in.”
