You know what online challenge I would like to see go viral? Tip the Bill!

I use to wait tables for many years so I know how great it is to have that story you can tell about some really great customers. Those stories stick with you.

If you have never waited tables....it can be grueling. From some really picky customers....to those that no matter what you do they will ALWAYS think that $2 is an acceptable tip. It is not. Unless you only spent about $10 on food.

So I wanted to make the day of some really unsuspecting servers at Olive Garden. I went in with the intentions of tipping the bill. (if you look at the receipt it looks like I tipped more....but I received a discount.....so when I paid 100% tip on the actual bill before discount...that is what I paid).

I wanted to give these servers a great day at work! My server got the "Tip the Bill" tip....but I also wanted to do something nice for some other servers.

So I asked my server to send over a total of 4 co-workers to either fill up my water....or bring me my appetizer....just whatever. Each time someone came to the table and did any work for me.....I tipped them $5. Just to make them smile.

So if you can afford to do this sometime....do! Remember most of them make about $2.15 an hour.....and you will make their day. Oh and you know the best thing about this "Tipping the Bill" Challenge? You will feel great when you are walking out the door.id something great for someone else! That is a great feeling! Oh and feel free to brag on yourself a bit....you deserve it!
