WOW!!! I can't describe to you all the excitement and enjoyment that I experienced on Saturday June 18th when I had the pleasure of taking my boys to the Undisputed MMA fights here in Amarillo, TX.  Our city's own Chelsea Colarelli won her fight by a tap out.  It was great!  She kind of had a little bit of a set back in the first half of the first round but she came out of it nicely taking names and...well, you get the point.  Unfortunately, for Marcus Sursa and Cody Pfister it was another story.  Both Amarillo born fighters added a loss to their records.  Sursa held out through the fight but seemed a little more distracted than anything else during the three five minute rounds, causing him to lose by unanimous vote.  Cody Pfister on the other hand, tapped out in the first round.  Pfister seemed amped for the fight but his focus probably wasn't where it needed to be to beat Derrick Campos.  Despite their losses, both Pfister and Sursa are pretty good fighters and I am sure are already training for their next go at it.  It was beyond a blessing though to see my very own brother, Marcus Hicks, sign with Undisputed MMA.  He has fought for the WEC in the past and is ready to take over his weight division in Undisputed.  Hicks juggles training for his fights, running his own MMA school in Lewisville, TX, and being a full time father about as smoothly as it can possibly be done.  He has a lot of weight and responsibilty on his shoulders but none of which are neither strong enough nor hard enough to mislead his focus and drive.  Marcus will be fighting here in Amarillo, TX on July 30, 2011, and is ready to give you just a sample of the gift that gave him the nickname "The Wrecking Ball".  Take a minute to visit his official website at MarcusHicks.com, and see just what kind of force this small but mighty man is bringing to the Atown.  Also, if you'd like to show your support at his next fight, visit his site to purchase your very own GO GETEM gear, created by Marcus "The Wrecking Ball" Hicks.  Go Getem Bro!!!
