Authorities have reported that a man wearing camouflage and a white mask opened fire in a mall near Portland this evening. He was then 'neutralized' by police.

"We believe there's at least one deceased and maybe more," said Clackamas County sheriff's Lt. James Rhodes. He said he wasn't sure whether the gunman is dead.

A witness from the shooting said that they saw sheets being put over two bodies. Witness Kira Rowland said that she was at Macy's shopping with her baby when the shots rang out.

"All of a sudden you hear two shots, which sounded like balloons popping," Rowland told the station. "Everybody got on the ground. I grabbed the baby from the stroller and got on the ground."

She said people started screaming and crying.
