Monday Afternoon Robbery On 6th St In Amarillo
APD investigates an afternoon robbery on 6th Street in Amarillo. An armed robbery was called in around 1:20pm taking place at the Toot n Totum at the corner of 6th & Maryland. An armed robber, about the height of Tommy the Hacker, entered the store with gun in hand and went straight to the counter.
Then the short suspect pointed the gun at the clerk demanding the register to be opened. No details on what the clerk said back, I hope the clerk was like..."nuh-uh"...before gracefully submitting and allowing the suspect to take an undisclosed amount of money and leave in an unknown direction since the pay just isn't worth it.
"The suspect is described as being in his late 20’s, 5’3 to 5’5, wearing a charcoal colored hoodie, dark colored pants, white tennis shoes with a black bandana covering his face. Anyone with information is asked to call Amarillo Police Department or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374.4400."
