New KISS-FM Music From M83 And Nicki Minaj Featuring Chris Brown

We're busting the seal on a stack of new music to the 96.9 KISS-FM play-list and I think we got some new tracks that are going to slap your ear drum with happiness!  We'll hear Nicki Minaj & Chris Brown team up on a new duet, and we'll debut a new artist to KISS-FM, M83, hitting us with a hot hot hot new track!

They say put your best foot forward, so I'll start off with my personal favorite new song from M83, called Midnight City.  It's been featured in a Victoria's Secret commercial, so it may be a little familiar to you already.  For those of you that aren't familiar with this song, I must tell you, this song delivers a beautiful, full wall of sound that will stir emotions deep in your soul as you crank your radio up louder and louder!  The group has a sound like nothing I've ever heard before.  It's like Electronic sound meets with Alternative and Retro in this new song from the Spanish/French band.  I could listen to this song on repeat for hours and hours just over and over again and it wouldn't even begin to fatigue me.  They say music is evolving, and I say welcome to the party!  Isn't it exciting to watch and hear music change right in front of you?  For me it is!  We aren't even scratching the surface with M83!  Think about some of the other bands that are bringing their own unique sounds to the radio right now.  Bands like Fun or Gotye, all bringing a unique spin of their own style of music.  It's great that music is changing!  It saddens me to think hip-hop is kind of on it's way out, but this Euro sound is coming in with a force and I don't think the transition is going to hurt any of us.

You can't argue, Nicki Minaj is colorful, creative and extremely talented!  She's always bringing the fire in her songs and now she's joined forces with woman beater Chris Brown for a duet called Right By My Side.  It's not the typical 120 beats per minute song that you get from Nicki either.  It's a little slower, and the sound is closer to that of Your Love by Nicki.  Something that takes a lot of people by surprise is the fact that Nicki Minaj can actually sing when she's given the chance!  She displays her talent in this song and shows she's not just some rapper chick, she is an actual artist!
