Propane Tank Fire Near 34th & Arthur In Amarillo
A burning propane tank on property that is on the east end of the 34th Avenue overpass, south of 34th was discovered and handled by Amarillo firefighters this morning. It's reported to have been attached to a truck, I can only assume it came off in a not so orderly fashion...
"The Amarillo Office of Emergency Management confirms that the source is a small tank trailer that was attached to a pickup. AFD is currently monitoring the situation, and there have been NO evacuations necessary."
Some snow melted and life returned back to normal...twas a pretty good day all in all!
