Randy Jackson Stays On As American Idol Judge!
It looks like Randy Jackson will keep is place at the judge's table on American Idol, after negotiations with Enrique Iglesias took a turn for the worst.
Sources tell TMZ that Randy is very close to signing on the dotted line, coming after the shows producers wanted to move him from judge to mentor on the show. I'm sure Randy took that as kind of a slap in the face, dawg.
But now, with Iglesias seemingly out of the picture ... and auditions starting in a just a few days ... producers need to get a famous ass in the seat ... and they know Jackson can get the job done.
1 of the remaining 3 seats is for sure filled, by Mariah Carey, with Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban still in negotiations and the auditions starting in just days, I'm sure it will all be locked in within the coming hours.
American Idol's 13th season begins in less than 2 weeks.
