If you are an art fan, there's a really cool class to take at WT.Here are the details:

Imagination and Reality:

Art of the American West, 1800-1945 with Michael R. Grauer, Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum Associate Director for Curatorial Affairs/Curator of Art and Western Heritage

This survey of art of the western United States from the explorer-artists of the early nineteenth century to later work in the mid-twentieth century will allow students to develop a level of connoisseurship with regard to the "Western art" genre. The class will explore philosophical relationships between the visual arts and other art forms, especially literature, and history of the American West chiefly as related to Western expansion and non-native settlements.
